  • iPod mini (Second Generation)

  1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.

If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

A member of the fitness challenge group can easily opt-out of the group by navigating to the Member info page in Fitness Tools and selecting View Fitness Challenge Group. From here, click the Remove Me From Group button and click OK on the confirmation dialog box. Note: a special case exists for the member who created the group. They cannot remove themselves from the group as this would destroy the entire group. However, they can change the End Date of the group to a date in the past which would effectively end the challenge. This should happen only if no one is actively participating in the group.

The system currently only allows a member to join one group at a time. Once a challenge has ended, the member may then join a new group. In the same manner, a member may only create one group at a time.

A special report is available to members of a fitness challenge group in the Reporting section under Fitness Tools. The Fitness Challenge report displays all active members of the group along with the total workout time each has logged into Ipodfitnesscenter.com .
