The Value of Friends

Submitted by tjeberle on Sun, 01/13/2008 - 11:18pm. in

As I looked out of our front window this Sunday Morning (it had recently snowed over night) I noticed that someone had started to shovel off our driveway. At that time I could not see anyone from my viewing point. It wasn't long and I could see that it was Jerry Esser. This was a very nice surprise. I had some knee repair done earlier in the week and Jerry just decided to come over and help us out. It was VERY MUCH appreciated. So I would like to publicly say THANKS JERRY.

When Apple announced the new iPod Nano with video, we knew we had to have one!  When we got one and realized how cool it was, we knew we had to give one away!  So, for the last couple of months, we've been cImageollecting entries into a drawing for a new iPod Nano 4 GB with video.  As we've attended events, we've collected names from organizations, runners at competitions and potential new members.

Well I see that the Challenge hasn't even started yet and the ladies have already started the trash talk. I think us gentleman will just go about our business racking up the miles each day, quitely doubling our miles each day, and then feeding the dolls a big'ol piece of humble pie when we're done. Ya'll need to be hungry on July 1st so you can eat the hole thing. Enough said!!!!

Jim Fulford who is the brainchild behind the ipodfitnesscenter.com has logged 100 Miles of uploaded runs.  Jim really combined his love and expertisefor technology and his desire to get himself back into shape to build this site.  We are so grateful to and for him and cannot believe that he actually had time to log 100 miles in the process.  Jim says that it's about "getting started, go take out the trash, go for a short walk and learn to use your ipod/Nile link and then keep going."  "It's allot easier to make yourself walk out the door when you know somewhere el
