When Apple announced the new iPod Nano with video, we knew we had to have one!  When we got one and realized how cool it was, we knew we had to give one away!  So, for the last couple of months, we've been collecting entries into a drawing for a new iPod Nano 4 GB with video.  As we've attended events, we've collected names from organizations, runners at competitions and potential new members. 

We are into September, but the August PARTI is still going! Keep moving - walking or running at least 10 minutes a day will do your part for your team. Get your team moving to take advantage of bonus days - it's not over, 'til it's over. After all, the most important reason for all of this is the feeling good benefit to each one of us when we move every day. But prizes are good motivation, too! Read on ...

When I saw the NIKE + shoes with the hole beneath the insole for your NIKE + link, my first thought was "how cool - but how expensive!"  I get my thriftiness from my Dad.  He taught us the value of the coupon and buying quality items at a good price.  My sister is even more fanatic than I am about making buying decisions based on having a coupon - but that's another story :) 

 Well - at least we got one group shot!  We filled up our camera memory with movie clips by accident - so we have just a few pictures.  It's all part of making memories - what a laugh!  Jacob had some wonderful Daddy time - and Aunt & Uncle time - on the slopes.  What a treasure for his life experience at age 7.  We are so blessed!  Peggy 

Shoes as a motivator?  You betcha!  In the 20 years I've known Jim, I've found there aren't too many things that rattle him.  He's fast paced but easy going and doesn't set rules for others to follow.  But one of the first 'intense discussions' we had early in our marriage was about shoes.  He just didn't understand why I needed 5 pairs of black shoes.  And why didn't I throw out a pair every time I brought a new pair home?  Please
