Thank you very much for putting together this wonderful weekend. I went out of my comfort zone with the encouragement of my teammates and support of all who were there. Thanks. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to attend the Inaugural Leap Event.

My name is Gay Jones. I live in Austin, Texas. My favorite Olympic Summer Sports is swimming.

My most memorable Olympic moment was watching Mary Lou Retton become the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal for the all-around competition in gymnastics. She was also the first woman to appear on the front of a "Wheaties Box"!! There are first times for everything when there is so many wonderful athletes competiting!!

Go for the Gold!! Good luck to all that have worked hard to go to China and compete with the best!!

My buddy Janie told me that I was the one the kicked her butt on the iSurvive Challenge. Janie came in 5th place. She loves softball and it seems like there has been a lot of rained out games lately. Send some our way!!! We need it.

Habits are forming!!

Most habits are formed within 21 days!  I have been walking 90 consecutive days.  It has been fun walking and using ipodfitnesscenter.com to track my miles and days I have walked.  I may not be able to walk but 10 minutes a day on some days due to my schedule.  But I do make time for my walks.  It maybe early in the mornings or very late at night.  I would not have started walking without a friend persuading me to check out the site.  I knew I needed to take care of myself and do something healthy for me for a change.  Walking gives me inspiration to make it to the next day.
