Can the North Team walk on water
In case it has not occured to you guys on the North Team, if you continue walking/running at your current pace and doubling miles every day, you will run out of Highway before you run out of month. So if you can't walk on water (the Pacific Ocean) then you guys need to slow down some and give the South Team half a chance here.
Just a thought!!!

To the Southern Team!!!
Submitted by ralker on Thu, 08/02/2007 - 3:32pm.I wanted to encourage all of you on the Southern Team to get out and walk or run. If you have not seen the details yet for the August PARTI then go to the fitness section and take a look. We will need all the committment we can get to beat the guys from the North/West. Personally I have only been walking about 3 days a week, but I am commiting to at least 5 days a week for this month. Hopefully that will become a habit for my future fitness, but for this month I just want to be on the winning Team.

A Clear and Compelling Dream
Submitted by ralker on Mon, 07/16/2007 - 11:36pm.Most people you talk to think that Tiger Woods is merely an immensely talented athelete. I had the same opinion until I began to read more about how he has gotten to be, not only the premier golfer in the world, but one of the premier atheletes in the entire world across all sports. In the book that Luronda has reccomended for our community to read over the next month or so, Tiger Traits, by Nate Booth you will get some insight as to why this is so.
To The Guys
Just wanted to let the guys know that I will be out of pocket from Wed to Sunday. My Dad is having some surgery and my 30 year High School Class reunion is Saturday. The point is I WILL BE WALKING but wont' be ableto upload until Sunday night. You guys keep walking....we need another day or two of 100% participation to create some separation and take the heat off!!!!
Dream Big....you won't regret it!!!

Awesome Meeting
We had a great meeting at our house tonight. Luronda drove over to Panama City in some pretty nasty weather, but we had a house full of some very excited people. There were several young new people there that seemed very excited about the opportunity. I encourage everyone to get all the people they can on next Monday's conference call, you will be glad you did.

The High Road
Submitted by ralker on Wed, 06/06/2007 - 2:53pm.Well I see that the Challenge hasn't even started yet and the ladies have already started the trash talk. I think us gentleman will just go about our business racking up the miles each day, quitely doubling our miles each day, and then feeding the dolls a big'ol piece of humble pie when we're done. Ya'll need to be hungry on July 1st so you can eat the hole thing. Enough said!!!!

Putting Sunscreen to the Test
Natalie, Brooke and I are spending a few days at our Condo in Destin. I have been very impressed with our new all natural sunscreen. I have spent the last 2 days in the sun and even with other suncreens I've used in the past I would normally be like a lobster and I'm not. So...if you haven't bought any yet you need to!!!!!

God Bless

Another Escape From Reality
For my birthday in March my wife Natalie gave me an all expense golf weekend with my best friend Jeff Nauman. So we chose one of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail courses in Auburn, Al. (War Eagle) called Grand National. Undoubtedly one of the finest, most beautiful golf courses in America. We played 1 course of Sat. and then another on Sunday morning. The weather was unbelievable....the courses were out of this world. For you guys that are golf enthusiasts...this was not just another round of golf. Natalie's creativity created memories for Jeff and I that we will cherish for ever.
My Money is on......
Since I have not gotten my Nike plus yet I am cheering you guys that are competing this month on from the sidelines. After looking at the teams, my money has been on Luronda and Lynn. Of course that is not to take anything away from anyone else's capability. I have been watching the fitness stats and all of you are making me look bad. Luronda and Lynn......you guys better not let me down, now that we are a week into the competition I still think you guys can pull it off!!!!
Our Interruption from Reality comes to an end!!!
It is amazing what 5 days of doing nothing but relaxing, sleeping late, taking a mid day nap, eating gourmet food can do for your mind and body!!!!
Temporary interruption from Reality
This week is what I call one of our temporary interruptions from reality...meaning that we are making our enjoyment greater that our effort. Tonight we are enjoying a night in the Presidential Suite in the Ocala Hilton. Now normally I would not fork out the money for this type of luxury but we purchased a night stay in the suite at a charity auction here in Ocala earlier in the year. Tomorrow we head off to one of the Disney resorts for 3 days of rest and relaxation.
Golfing Stats
I got to thinking that maybe we should have Jim create a golf stats section like the fitness stats. We could keep track of our scores, longest drives, fewest 3 putts, fewest balls lost in 18 holes. Don't get me wrong...I'm not making light of the tracking of stats in the fitness center, it's incredible....but for those of us who would rather play a round of golf than walk or run....playing golf against our Vitalifer buddies around the country would be a really cool concept. Oh well...it was just a thought!!!!!
